YouTuber Armaan Malik and his two wives Payal Malik and Kritika Malik have been ruling the headlines because of their polygamous marriage. Their participation on Bigg Boss OTT season 3 did not bode well with the netizens and celebrities as they took to their social media handles to criticise them for practicing polygamy. Actress Poulomi Polo Das, who was recently evicted from the reality show, opened up about the trio’s bond and stated that Payal is more mature than Kritika, who needs her husband’s attention.
In an interview with Indian Express, Das opened up about her observation of the Malik family and stated that despite being a ‘sautan’ Payal treats Kritka with utmost care. The actress expressed how she has immense respect for Malik’s first wife for accepting them. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadi, she said, “I have a great deal of respect for one of them, that is Payal. If she hadn't understood and accepted Armaan's marriage to Kritika, they wouldn't have been together. The way Payal treats Kritika, they are sautans, but she has never seen her like that. The 28-year-old actress went on to express how Payal can shine without Armaan, however Kritika often need more attention from him. She told the media publication, “Kritika is not as mature as Payal, she wants attention from Armaan all the time. For those who don’t know, Armaan tied the knot with Payal in 2011 and welcomed their son Chirayu Malik. After being happily married for six years, he married Kritika, Payal’s best friend in 2018. While Kritika recently welcomed her and Armaan’s first kid, Zaid, Payal welcomed twins Ayan and Tuba shortly after. The trio’s dynamics have left the netizens with mixed reactions and many celebrities have also taken to social media to share their disappointment.
